"Hancock's Powers" - 07/20/2008

”Hancock’s Powers”
07/20/2008
Dream One:

(I don’t remember very much of this one at all – just going off of my notes, and even those don’t really bring most of the beginning of the dream back into memory.)

I started off this dream with Hancock’s powers (was watching the movie when I went to sleep). Apparently, I started off by going around and helping people, at times. I ended up with a group of friends, including C., who used to hang out in my old neighborhood. Another girl in the group turned out to be my “opposite,” like Charlize’s character in the movie.

We were, then, at someone’s house. The unfamiliar girl had been crying, for some reason, and I spent a large part of the dream consoling her, hugging and kissing her while our group was waiting around for C. while she was busy with something. We were told that we had to go meet C. at “Covington” something-or-other. I knew where it was, so we all left the house. The mystery girl slipped up to me to hold my hand and, after walking for some time, her expression changed, and she immediately seemed really apprehensive about something. Without disclosing why, she decided that she was going to split from the group and walk a separate way. I asked if she knew something that she wasn’t telling us, and she just refused to answer. She went the opposite way, and the rest of us continued walking to the neighborhood where we were supposed to meet C.

Shortly afterward, I found myself walking through a strange house, alone. All of a sudden, some kid in his late-teens jumped out from around a corner, slashing at me with a knife. He caught me by surprise, so I instinctively reacted and grabbed him. I noticed, though, how strong he was. Holding him back, as best I could, I was still suffering glazing cuts and scratches from the knife proving that, along with having lost my super-strength, I was, also, no longer invulnerable to attack.

We struggled on our feet, for a short while, and ended up crashing through a nearby window. When we hit the ground, on the outside, I felt the boy's head ended up cracking on something. Blood began pouring out of it, profusely. Having merely been defending myself, I never meant to kill this kid. I had, apparently, lost my powers after having been around my "opposite," for quite a while, and I was pretty sliced up, but I picked the stranger up and carried him down the street, where there just happened to be some medics in an ambulance. It turned out that the kid has lost too much blood, though, and it was too late to save him.

"Remnants of Cerberus" - 12/23/2021 (Lucid)

"Remnants of Cerberus"
12/23/2021
(Lucid)

(This dream was pretty fragmented, and I could only remember a few, key moments of it. I had been playing "Devil May Cry 5", before bed, and I'm pretty sure my acquisition and usage of a 3-tier weapon of fire, ice, and electricity - that I got after defeating the boss demon King Cerberus - is what inspired these encounters.)

I was in my old neighborhood, at night, just roaming about the streets. There were a few other people out, but all was relatively quiet. Then, with absolutely no warning, a raging, flaming minotaur rampaged onto the scene. The top half of its body was set ablaze, as if it was sporting a flowing mane of pure fire that covered its head and upper torso. It was doing these rushing berserker-type attacks and mauled at least one person before turning its sights on me. It blitzed me and I had to brace against its charge with my forearms. Each impact felt like I was bracing against the heaviest lineman, running into me at full speed. After reeling from the intensity of each of its charges - surprisingly, never finding myself getting burned from its fiery headbutts - I was able to dodge a few of its attacks before it veered off toward another person. I don't how, exactly, it happened, but when it caught up to the other passerby, it immediately turned the man into ice, as if it had ejected frozen air from its snout, or something. The person literally froze in place, solid, into a strange, organic form like a nautilus shell made of ice.

Using this window of opportunity, I hauled ass and ran out of the entrance of the neighborhood, sprinting down the sidewalk next to the main road. I remember passing two motorcycle cops that were just hanging out on the side of the road, but the thought never occurred to me to stop and tell them what was happening. Instead, I continued running toward the shopping center that sat at the next major intersection. It was here that I notice something bright, filling the night sky, in the distance. As it loomed closer, I could see that it was a fire-tornado, whirling its way toward the shopping center and in my, personal, direction.

Still not yet lucid, I don't know exactly what prompted me that I could even do this, but I suddenly decided to take flight, and I levitated off of the sidewalk and into the air. Getting a grand view of the town from above, as well as the imposing cyclone of flames that was still stalking up the street toward me, I instinctively decided to fly back to my neighborhood, feeling that I might rather take my chances with the no-less-fiery minotaur. The moment I touched down, though, just next to my home, I briefly contemplated what had been happening. I realized that - of course - this all had to be a dream.

I was no longer afraid of encountering the minotaur, but it was nowhere to be found. Instead, though, as if right on cue, I saw the bright glow of a monstrous fire coming through the dark streets of my neighborhood. The closer it got, the more I could see that it wasn't the minotaur. No. It was a machine. A crane, of sorts. It was as if an oversized backhoe was fitted with a massive, rotating sawblade on its telescopic arm, and that sawblade - itself - was also made of a supernatural hellfire. The tractor portion of the vehicle didn't have wheels. Instead, it was actively laying track, in front of itself, which constructed a system of x/y axes on the ground, for the tractor to shift toward me in an alternation of frontward / sideward movements.

Unafraid, due to my newfound lucidity, I just waited for the giant machine to approach. The flaming, rotated blade swung itself around in my direction, and I took to the air. The blade swiped just beneath me, and I could hear the loud whirring of the machine as its crane arm changed directions and brought the blade back around toward me, again. I was completely comfortable in my flight, though, able to zip through the air in short, lateral bursts, evading each subsequent slash from the crane and watching the flaming blade shred through the trees - and even some houses - in the neighborhood as it continued to try to slice me out of the air.

I don't remember anything after toying with this contraption, though.

"Tap Worms" - 09/17/2021

"Tap Worms"
09/17/2021

Some friends and I were hanging out in my old home. We had been casually drinking glasses of tap water from the sink, and really thinking nothing of it, for most of the day. (For context: the water quality where I live, now, isn't great.) At some point, though, we'd begun to notice that there was quite a lot of "trash" floating about in our glasses. Upon closer inspection, we found that there were the tiny, brown worms hanging about, in the water. We immediately dumped whatever we had left in our glasses, disgusted.

Shortly after our discovery, the odd behavior started. First, it was just within my group of friends, with people becoming erratic and frenzied. After dispersing everyone from the home, though, I'd come to find that this had begun affecting other folks in my neighborhood, and beyond. These worms, it was revealed, were part of a hive-mind of parasitic creatures, which bored their way through people's bodies and into their brains, causing them to become infected with treacherous, murderous tendencies. As more of these cases amassed, the worms began growing - and growing - to the point where they were breaking out of the bodies of their hosts and just continuing to expand like pasta noodles from a pressurized grate. Before long, it wasn't safe to be anywhere in town, and those of us who seemed unaffected had resolved to finding a hideaway, far away from town.

We came upon a small church, out in the sticks, and set up a spot to rest and plan our next move. This was a short-lived refuge, though, as more of the worms, already enlarged, began streaming up out of the floor around us. Then, the floor, itself, began cracking open, and what was proven to be an enormous, Lovecraftian mass of tentacles - the apparent base of this superorganism of worms - came breaking its way up from beneath the building. (It reminded me of the monster from Deep Rising.) I had no choice but to jump out of a window, as the creature overwhelmed the church and, soon, began expanding outward until it overtook the entire region, mutilating and consuming everyone caught in its ever-inflating path. Eventually, I, too, was swept up by the creature, and I remember being fed to the toothy, cavernous base within the mass of tendrils. Everything went black.

Suddenly, there was a transition in the dream, and I was back at my old home. Things had, seemingly, returned to normal, though I still had memory of what had happened, before. Immediately after recalling past events, the tentacled monster broke in through the halls of the home, forcing me out of the front door. I ran through the neighborhood, looking back to see the mass of tendrils completely overtaking my house, billowing up through the roof like gigantic strands of hair, undulating in an underwater current.

Panicked, I ran around the corner, passing my older neighbor, F's, home. She saw me passing and came out as if to help me. I gave her the abridged rundown of what was happening, and her face quickly turned stern and serious. She something like: "Run, all you want. You'll never escape. Surrender, now. You'll be dead within 20 minutes, anyway." Her sinister tone was unmistakable, and I could tell that she was possessed. The worms had already begun burrowing through her brain and twisting her thoughts to that of the hivemind. Immediately, I was struck by a sense of hopelessness and defeat. I felt trapped in this, practically circular, series of events. Somewhat apathetically, I submitted to the demand, and said that I was going to go along without a struggle, and my neighbor told me that she was going to take me to meet the source of this monstrous presence, face-to-face. I knew, instinctively, that this was a case of demonic influence, and not something specifically alien. For whatever reason, I agreed to go with her, and got into her car.

Already sitting in her backseat, was another woman - around my age. Apparently, she was another person who had "surrendered," and she was also being taken to the source. We arrived at a towering, high-rise building in the city, and followed F into the elevator. A creeping dread came over me, as we ascended, and I could tell that the other captive was doing the same. We both knew that, no matter what happened during his meeting, we would soon be meeting our demise. Panic, once again, began to take hold.

Shortly after the elevator doors open, the other woman made a break for it, sprinting, full-tilt, toward the large window at the end of the hall, crashing through the glass and plummeting to her death, obviously preferring to face death upon her own terms. Shocked, F turned and looked at me, as if to gauge my reaction. Immediately, I blurted out to her that "That's what I'm going to do, too!" As promised, a dashed down the hallway, sailing through the open window and careening toward the street, far below.

The last thing I remember was a feeling of all-encompassing calm and acceptance, knowing that I was going to die upon smacking into the pavement, but relieved that I would not become a mindless drone of this ravenous demon that we'd just abandoned. Everything went black, during the fall, and I don't remember ever hitting the ground.

"Stabbing Voorhees" - 08/17/2006 (Lucid)

"Stabbing Voorhees"
08/17/2006
Dream #2
(Lucid)

In the next dream, Jason Voorhees showed up in Kellen's old house (my childhood friend, back in Houston) and kept trying to kill me. I ended up escaping the house and making a break for it, outside. While running away from him, I realized that I was dreaming. I attempted to fly away but couldn't get any higher than about 15 feet in the air, before I would start sinking - even crashing down through the branches of a tree, once, and slamming into the ground.

Still a bit terrified, despite my lucidity, I got up and kept running. Unfortunately, I started thinking about how Jason usually shows up around corners and stuff, in the movies, just in front of his victims. Sure enough, as soon as I turned the first corner, he was there, arms folded, leaning back against the wall like he was John Travolta or something. He turned his head toward me and stood up straight, beginning to walk in my direction. I was like "f*ck flying," and I just stormed over to face him. He stabbed at me, and I easily caught the blade in my hand - painlessly - laughing. Then, I just snatched it from him and started mutilating him with his own butcher's knife. Haha.

I don't remember much more, after that, though.

"No R.I.P. for the Weary" - 11/23/2012 (Lucid + FA)

"No R.I.P. for the Weary"
11/23/2012
Dream #2
(Lucid + FA)

I was in my old house in Canterbury. My baby's mom, G, was gone, and I was in our room, while her father was asleep in his own room, across the house. It was nighttime outside, and I was getting ready for bed. There was some kind of figurine, which I was moving from one spot to another, when I suddenly began to feel eyes on me. I looked toward the window, still holding the figurine. Through the curtains, inside, and the bushes which sat outside the window, I saw a face and two eyes staring back at me. It was 'Julie'. She gave me a mischievous smile and moved away from the window, as if to try and undo the fact that I had caught her spying on me. A little excited by this, I decided to go to the front door and invite her in. (Even though we were still living together, for a short while afterward, my ex and I had already had a mutual separation, by this point, IRL.)

When I walked to the living room, I went to open what I thought was the front door, and it turned out to be my ex's dad's room door, which had switched sides of the house. I apologized to him and then went to the other side of the house, closer to where the front door should be, given this (new) layout. When I opened this door, it was the door to the carport, instead. I realized how strange this was. When I turned back to the living room, I recognized that everything was backward. The house was set-up completely differently than it had been in waking life. It occurred to me that I was dreaming. What I didn't know was how long I'd been dreaming. I remembered that 'Julie' was supposed to be coming in/over, and I'd wondered if I had fallen asleep before she arrived. Unsure about this, and quite anxious see where things were going to go with her, I tried to wake myself up, to make sure she wasn't really coming over.

I "woke up" on my bed - completely oblivious to the fact that I was still dreaming - and went to the door (still in my old house, not my present one). 'Julie' was there, and I let her in, happy to see that I hadn't missed the opportunity. She hung out in the room for a while, and then we inevitably started to fool around. Just then, there was a knock at the door. I went back out to open it, and my other, most recent ex-girlfriend, M, was standing there. I knew that M and 'Julie' didn't really like each other, so I was trying to stall M, so that she wouldn't know exactly what was going on here, since she and I were still friends after our breakup. It wasn't very long after this awkward moment, that I involuntarily received the most perfect distraction possible...

Zombies.

Out of nowhere, a small band of zombies made its way into the house. (I had been talking with a coworker about The Walking Dead, the tv show, last night). We all scrambled to get out of the house, grabbing whatever make-shift weapons that we could. Passing by the kitchen, I remember turning back to grab the knife set from off of the counter. We made our way through the laundry room and into the carport, and I had to frantically stab at some of the undead that were trying to clamber over the fence to get us. While my arm was extended, one of the zombies reached its head up and opened wide, aiming to take a huge chunk out of it. I saw the teeth come down toward my arm, and I thought to myself "NOOOOOOOO!!!!" knowing what was in store for me. All of a sudden, as if because of that moment of panic, the zombie's mouth froze in place with its teeth just resting around my arm, having not bitten into it. It was literally just resting there. Only taking a short moment to wonder 'what the hell?' I then got myself back in gear, and we began to move away from the house.

We didn't get very far before a black van (identical to the one that G used to drive IRL, actually) came screeching around the corner, directly toward us. We tried to desperately dive out of the way, but the van ended up smashing into M and then crashing into the house. I ran over to the vehicle and saw that M was in really bad shape after the impact, but just barely still alive. Her body looked pretty mangled, and her face was all bloodied and bruised. She needed medical attention, and fast. I knelt over her, trying to tend to her and make sure she was still alive, and some bratty kid - from a crowd that had gathered after the accident - was teasing me by saying something like "Awww, look at you, taking care of the wittle baby..." or something similar. I told the kid off - but really wanted to kick his ass - and went back to care for M. There is a bit of a memory gap here, where I can't remember exact details, but it turned out that the driver of the van was someone from the syndicate that was holding Wade Wilson - aka Deadpool - captive (in the previous dream of the night, which can be read here).

JS, another neighborhood friend of mine, showed up, and we were able to take this murderous driver down, after dragging him out of the wreckage. He'd tipped us off - somehow - that there were more of them coming after me, because I had allegedly helped Wade escape, earlier (though I don't actually remember having a presence in the previous dream. Just watching it the events unfold).

Another set of headlights beamed into the area, notifying us that someone else would be coming around the corner soon. I told JS that they would be coming for me, and to get M out of there. I knew that the zombies were still in the area, but I had to draw all attention away from my friends. Just as the next vehicle was coming around the bend, I took off and ran around to the other side of the house. Pivoting at the far side, to circle around the building and let the car pass by where I had once been, I looked to one side, as something had caught my eye. There, leaning up against the wall, was Robocop. He was just...standing there. It looked like he was in a sleep-stasis mode, with his head down, hiding back behind some bushes as if he had been placed there. I thought to myself 'damn, I could really use his help, right now,' but I had to keep moving, because I was still in the open and knew that any vehicle passing by my house would see me, once they looked around the corner.

I rounded the back side of the house, and then came back around on the other side. From there, I could see JS helping M down the street, holding her up while walking beside her. I took one more look around the corner, to make sure the coast was clear, and went to meet them, knowing that the pursuing car had already passed where we'd once been. Just as I reached them, though, I was attacked from behind. A man who reminded me of Simon Phoenix (Wesley Snipes) from the movie 'Demolition Man' was all over me. We started fighting in the street, and this dude apparently knew what he was doing. He had counters for almost everything I threw at him, and I was beginning to think that I was going to lose this match. Suddenly, I got a hold of a pair of handcuffs - though I can't remember where I got them from. It took a bit more struggle, but I was able to get them fitted on his wrists. He wasn't done, though. He kept fighting me, tenaciously, and was boasting to me about how he could pick his cuffs. He said that once he got his hands free, he was going to kill me. We struggled some more - both of us now lying on the asphalt - and I had to hold his wrists apart to try to keep one hand from reaching the other cuff.

Eventually, though, he overpowered me and snapped one of the cuffs off. Before he could act, I grabbed the fingers of one of his hands. I could see the shock grow in his eyes as I began to push backward on the fingers. He was silently pleading with me not to break them. In my heart, I really didn't want to break them. I knew it was going to be a sickening feeling, as I had never broken someone's bones before, in waking life. This was a matter of life and death, though, and this guy had to be immobilized. With one final push, I snapped all four fingers backward, to where they literally folded back on his hand, severed at the knuckles and leaving only bloody stumps attached to the palm.

The man screamed in pain, but kept on fighting. Even with a broken hand, he ended up overpowering me and kneeling over me, pulling out some kind of weapon and making a gesture which telegraphed that he was about to introduce me to a world of hurt. Just in time, though, gunfire rang out, and the man stopped. He looked from me to JS, nearby, who was holding a machine gun (that I immediately just assumed he had taken from one of the villains). We then looked from the gun barrel to the spot behind my opponent, where the gun was aimed, just in time to see a zombie - which was just about to attack me and the guy I was fighting, fall to pieces, its body practically split in half by the short burst of gunfire. Spouts of blood squirted up from the split torso, which then fell to the ground. My attacker looked just as shocked as I was. He looked back at JS, who had just saved his life, and then down at me. Seemingly having a change of heart, he stood up and reluctantly backed off.

Then, another set of headlights cut through the brief pause. Another van came roaring around the turn, and we all scrambled away, again, before it could run us over. I jumped to my feet, borrowing the gun from JS and running after the passing van, which rounded another corner and tried to make a U-Turn. Running up on the van, I let bullets spray into the driver's side window, killing the driver, opening the door and throwing him out of the van. I then jumped inside and brought the van around to pick up the others. We hauled ass toward the front of the neighborhood, just as another van was passing us, presumably driving to where we'd just been. I knew that they would be turning back around shortly, once they realized we were no longer there. Gunning the engine toward the intersection at the front of the neighborhood, and looking back in the rear-view to see if the other van was behind us, I nearly froze when I turned back to my front side and saw a low-flying fighter jet heading straight toward us, in the night sky. Before I even had a chance to react, a volley of missiles streaked out from the jet, sailing directly over the roof of our van and blowing up the van that had been coming up behind us. The jet screamed through the air and flew over top of us, trailing the missile exhaust, and I realized that the help had come from Wade's team that had come to stop the evil syndicate, before (but still wasn't able to piece together that these were dreams, even though I remembered the events in the previous one).

I was momentarily relieved, but then I remembered that we were driving one of those same vans, and that the jet would probably be coming around to make another pass and take us out - not knowing who was driving. I told everyone that we had to ditch the van as soon as possible, and I sped through the intersection to get as far away from the neighborhood as possible before stopping so we could all bail out. I don't remember ever actually leaving the van though, before waking up.

"Fire-breathing Fire" - 07/10/2020 (Lucid)

"Fire-breathing Fire"
07/10/2010
(Lucid)

From my earliest memory of this dream, I was lucid. I was on some crazy, roller-coaster type of track, with my daughter. The coaster had no cars, and we were actually running on the tracks and around the areas that the tracks had connected to one another. Surrounding the pillars of mountains and concrete structures, stretched an endless, blue ocean, and the tracks we were running on were apparently suspended over the water by nothing. We ran on these thin rails with breakneck, video game-like speed, zipping around corners and up hills. I held her hand, and she followed close behind me. Sometimes we would jump off the tracks, without breaking stride, and run around, exploring the hills and buildings, before jumping back onto the tracks and continuing on our way. At different intervals, our tracks would sometimes come to a break, and we'd have to jump onto parallel tracks, to avoid falling into the infinite ocean below us. (It all felt very Sonic the Hedgehog-ish). She was in awe of the whole thing and wondered how we were able to do this. I told her that we were lucid dreaming, but didn't go into her being a DC. I don't believe it really crossed my mind, to any significant degree.

My recall skips ahead, and I'm was back at my old home, in Canterbury, and still lucid. I walked into the room which used to be my parents', and my dad was in there. I told him to check me out, and I started levitating in front of him. He just watched for a moment, and I bounced slowly around the room, from walls to ceiling and floor, as if I was filled with helium - lightly pushing my hands off the ceiling to make myself float down, the other way. He asked how I was doing it, and I explained the whole lucid thing to him, even going so far as to tell him about how he wasn't real and was just a DC - which I hadn't done with my daughter. He was just astonished, and he started rubbing his hands all over everything in the room - from the bed to the dresser and back again. When he sat down on the bed, I focused my mind on it and levitated it slowly to the ceiling. The bed actually touched flat against the ceiling, and when I lowered it, my dad was nowhere to be found. I tried to turn around and summon him, but he just wouldn't show up. Then, I remembered what had happened, during one of the last times I was standing in this room, while lucid. (I had accidentally summoned my old friend, MW, after I had spent the whole dream trying to get rid of him.) So, seeing if I could kick-start my summoning ability by doing something familiar, I tried to summon MW again, by expecting him to just walk around the corner and into the room. No dice. Frustrated, I turned back to look at the room - trying of thinking of something else to do - and, lo and behold, MW was already sitting on the bed, looking at me with this stupid grin as if to say; "You rang?"

Even more frustrated at his comically-sarcastic entrance, I just smirked at him and turned back around, leading him out of the room. We walked out of the house, through the carport door - by this time, having abandoned my intention to summon my dad again - and there was a bunch of other people playing in the street. The first thing that caught my eye was the moon, being that it was the only thing in the night sky. I focused on the moon and moved it just slightly, testing my control over it. I, then, concentrated and attempted to turn it into a replica of the Earth. I don't remember what the actual morph looked like, but it was soon a spitting image of our planet, so far as I could tell. Finally, I yanked on the orb, telekinetically, and pulled it out of the sky. The planet - scaled to about the size of a mini-van, and still glowing as if it were lit by the sun, from within - thudded heavily onto the street and rolled about, between the group of onlookers. They all started playing with it, as if it were a giant medicine ball.

I had left the group, and was soon sitting in my truck, in front of my house. Someone, parked nearby, was having car trouble. I believe it was MW again. He asked me if I had AAA and, as soon as the question left his lips, a tow-truck came pulling up behind us. We got out of our vehicles and began to go over to talk to the toe truck driver, when something caught my eye. I looked over toward the dark backdrop of the bayou behind my old house, and there was a snake-like flame, about the size of a man, dancing toward us from under a tall tree. As it got closer, I could see that it was a dragon. A dragon made of fire. It had a snake-like body, which stood up like a cobra - nearly as tall as I was - and it was a mean sum'bitch. It was undeniably badass, though; made out of a smokeless fire that blazed all around what looked to be a reflective, multi-colored body, beneath. It kept spitting flames at all of us, and I stepped in the way, standing in one of the flames. I didn't create a shield, as I'd done in my first lucid dragon encounter, but I just stood there and let it breathe fire all over me. To my surprise, it was actually pretty hot, but nothing too intense. Finally, in the middle of its assault, I held up my hands in front of me and took control of the dragon's body, with my mind. Waving my arms a little, to guide the mental movements, I literally tied the dragon's long, serpentine body into a knot with telekinesis, as if he were some big, flaming balloon animal. I then flicked my head in one direction and threw the dragon off to one side, discarding it.

Looking around, for something else to do, I tried to make some mushroom clouds erupt up and out of the midnight horizon. Some smaller explosions blasted through the nearby neighborhood, but nothing on the scale of what I was trying to accomplish. Along the ditch nearby, I could see some kids playing in the field. It had looked as if they were playing, at least. Then, I saw that they were, actually, running from the police. A squad car had driven up onto the grass and was chasing the kids through the field, heading in my direction. Having nothing more pressing to do with my lucidity, I sat and watched, waiting to see what would happen next. Out of nowhere, now about 50 yards away, the kids all drew pistols and opened fire into the squad car. The cops didn't even have a chance to react. Riddled with bullets, the squad car kept approaching me, sirens blaring, and cut a sharp turn into the soil. This caused the car to flip over once, passing me and coming to rest on it's rooftop, a couple of feet to my left. I couldn't even see the actual cops inside the wreckage. All I saw was a huge splatter of blood on the windshield, foretelling their fate. (I had been playing GTA, before bed, and that's what the whole ordeal felt like.)

I knew that I would be waking up soon, so I started going over the events of the dream in my mind, recalling as much as I could, before making that transition from dreaming to waking life. Something else began to happen, in the field, but I decided to pay no attention to it and jump out of the dream, while the events, so far, were still fresh in my mind.

"The Karate Master" - 09/16/2007 (FA)

"The Karate Master"
09/16/2007
(False Awakening)

(Had some B6 last night, so these were really vivid, and I was this [ ] close to having an LD, but I was also tired as Hell and didn't spend too much time on actually trying to recognize the dream state, so I was just missing clues all over the place.)

This one began with a false awakening. I was in my old house and the room was dark. I looked beside me and there was a baby swing sitting there. CJ was in it, and she was a baby again. Having not paid too much attention to it, at first, and turned away. I heard a noise and then turned back to look at the swing. CJ was now older, maybe 5, and was climbing out of the swing by herself. The swing tilted over, but CJ landed on her feet. Without even looking at me, she opened my room door and walked out.

I got out of bed and followed her, noticing that the kitchen light was on. She walked down the hall, toward the living room and, when I got there, I was surprised to see that my living room was FULL of people. A large portion of my friends and family members were just lounging around and watching TV, even my friend that lives in California was there. I stopped and just stared at all of them. They all just looked at me and smiled, and went back to whatever they were doing. I looked at a clock (and a digital one, at that. I should slap myself for not doing a reality check), and it said it was 10:40 PM. The gears in my head just barely started turning, and I finally said to them. "You know...It's strange enough that I remember going to bed at around 3am, and that clock says it's, somehow, 10:40..but....what the hell are all of you doing here??" BM, from Cali, gave me some bullshit explanation (that I can't remember, right now), and it was somehow enough to throw me off.

I walked into the kitchen and opened the freezer. There was (among other things) a half-eaten french-bread pizza in it. I closed the freezer door and walked back into the living room. It was now daytime and most of my friends and family had disappeared. Instead, CJ and a bunch of kids were hanging around the living room. They all seemed really happy to see me and said that they had been waiting for me to come back, so we could practice martial arts together. I helped them move some of the furniture and we cleared out a large space in the living room and started messing around with some basic martial arts moves.

After a while, the door opened and another, older, kid walked in. With her, was some big, barrel-chested man with a bald head and a black karate gi on. She introduced him as a "master" that was here to spar all the kids. The kids were now, suddenly, teenagers and dressed in karate gis of their own. There were three different styles of gi, each defining a different level of skill. So I sat back in the dining room area and gave them their space, watching.

It was an awesome sight. This guy was just plowing through these kids, but they were definitely putting up a great effort. The master was taking a different approach to each of the different skill levels. He was somewhat gentle to the kids with the all-white gis, the beginners, used a moderate level of control with the kids with a red sash, the intermediates, and absolutely destroyed the advanced students in the white/black Akido-style gis. He was just bouncing back and forth between all these kids, like Jackie Chan, as they rushed him, all at once. One of the girls did this sick combination where she jumped at him with a hurricane kick, which he stepped back from. As she landed, she continued the rotation (which was really fast), spinning like a top and swinging the foot around into a series of foot sweeps. The master evaded the first few rotations and then jammed his foot down on the ground, blocking the final kick with his leg before picking the girl up and flipping her over onto her back.

The second he did that, an older boy, one of the advanced fighters, came up and attacked the master from behind. This kid had no chance. The master turned around, swept the kid's legs into the air, and drove a hand down into chest, slamming the kid down into the floor so hard I thought he would break through it.

As I watched, part of me wanted to just rush in and try my hand at this guy, too, but I knew I would get owned, so I decided to just hang back, as this was their lesson, not mine. Lol.

Later (and I don't remember how this happened, but...), this master was reeeeeeeaaaallly pissed at me. This was, obviously, not a good thing. CJ; some of the rest of the kids; a few of my family members; and I were in some sort of theater. I had learned that the master was after me, and my perspective switched, momentarily, to a view in the lobby. It was as if I was a camera that was following the master as he stormed into the lobby of the theater, and stomped his way toward the theater hall that we were in.

Suddenly, it zoomed back in to first person, and I saw the doors fly open. The master stood there for a moment, glaring at me. The theater hall was nearly empty, and I was closer to the stage. Shortly after, the man was running toward me like a freight train. The kids, who were now their younger selves again, scattered as the master attacked. I tried to do whatever I could to defend myself, but this guy was completely wrecking me.

The theater was filled with those little iron folding chairs, instead of anchored seats, and the guy was just throwing me around them like a rag doll, pretty much. I was able to get a few shots in but, overall, he was just taking me apart.

The turning point came when I was able to trip him. He fell to the ground and I picked up one of the chairs. I tried to pin him by making the legs of the chair straddle over him, and keep him from standing up. He started crawling under the chairs, though. I jumped up on top of the chairs and ran across them, as he moved under them, balancing while trying to keep my weight right above the chairs that he was beneath, so that he couldn't stand up. Finally, moving parallel to each other, we came to the end of the row of chairs. As soon as he slid out from under the last chair and tried to stand up, I dove onto his back and put him in a rear naked choke, before he had a chance to do anything about it. He was still able to stand up and grabbed my arm and tried as hard as he could to pull it off, but I was holding on for dear life. This guy was so big that it felt like I was riding a bull as he flailed and spun around, trying to throw me off (I don't know how the hell he fit under those chairs. lol.) This went on for a few moments, and then I finally felt his body go limp and he fell to the floor, unconscious.

A little while later, we were leaving the theater. I think the cops had been called or something, because there was some big commotion going on. Through the crowd, the master (having awoken) walked toward me. He bowed at me, respectfully, and I simply bowed back. I think he said something to me but I don't remember what it was. (That's the second master that I've gotten my ass handed to me by. At least I was able to beat this guy. I still have to go find the old kung fu master that tore me up last year.)

"Momoa and the Old Schoolhouse" - 3/20/2019 (Lucid + Chain)

"Momoa and the Old Schoolhouse"
3/20/2019
(Lucid + Dream Chain)

PART ONE

I don't quite remember what was going on, in the very beginning of this dream. My earliest memory of it is being in what I believe was an office setting, and suspecting I was dreaming. Performing my most common reality check, I raised my hand over an object on a desk - something common, like a paperweight or computer mouse - and attempted to draw it to me with telekinesis. The object flew up off of the desk and into my hand, and confirmed to me that this was definitely a dream.

Walking outside of the building, I came to an elevated road, levitating off of my feet and flying up the incline, landing on the hill-top pavement and peering out, over a beautiful, expansive plains area. It was dusk, and the sky was a mixture of bright orange and a light, purple-ish tone. In the very center of this lush, green field, there was a large, old fashioned schoolhouse, set among a small patch of trees. Immediately, this reminded me of my previous intention, upon becoming lucid, which was to continue to search for the Dream World Academy. Not so much thinking that this might have actually been IT, I decided to search within it, to see if I could find my way into something that seemed a little more like what I had pictured. Flying over to the school, I Ianded in the front yard. The place was completely deserted, it seemed, and I stepped inside to have a look around.

The inside of the school seemed more like the interior of a home, and only sometimes matched the outdated look of the outside. I went from room to room, opening doors with the intention of kinda "creating" a D.W.A. environment, upon opening each new section of the schoolhouse. There was very little light in the home, and I had to fight the creepy feeling that was washing over me, as the atmosphere seemed very "Resident Evil," in that everything felt dim and still. Sounds echoed and shadows covered most of the walkways. (I have started playing the Resident Evil 2 remake, lately.) Most of the rooms remained normal, however, aside from one door I opened, where I could only see a large eye, peering out from a black substance that totally encompassed the inner door frame. Immediately, I closed the door and continue exploring, still trying to ignore the idea that my subconscious was inevitably going to mess with me, in this type of environment.

Moving on, through the house, I opened a new door, to a small bedroom. There was just a little sunlight coming in, through the window, and I could see that there were two, twin-sized beds inside. The room was small enough that they took up almost the whole area, and though the beds were made, I could see that there were figures beneath the covers - seemingly human-shaped - and those figures were moving. Reaching out to the covers of one of the beds, I tried to push all thoughts of 'scary things' out of my mind, hoping not to get ambushed with any selection of my worst nightmares. Ripping the covers off of the bed, I was surprised to see absolutely nothing, in what was, clearly, an occupied space, just seconds ago. I walked over to the second bed, watching the covers writhe about, as if a restless person was tossing about, beneath. Still trying not to let myself be intimidated, I yanked the covers of this one back, as well. Relieved, I was greeted by two or three small dogs, who were just playfully rolling around with each other on the bedspread.

After taking a moment to pet the doggos, I walked out of the bedroom and into the kitchen, which, again, resembled more a home kitchen than that of an old school. Unexpectedly, I was greeted by another dog, this one not quite as friendly as the ones I'd met in the bedroom. It snarled at me and kept trying to bite at me, and I continuously pushed it away. Getting annoyed, I tried to channel my inner Dragon Ball Z, clenched my fists and yelled, "Raaaaaaah!!!" A blast of energy exploded out of my body, pushing outward in all directions, and shaking the objects around me. The dog backed off, for only a moment, though, and the moment my energy dissipated, the dog rushed back in and chomped down on my hand. It didn't really hurt much, but once attached, I simply could not get the dog off of me, no matter how hard I pushed.

Eventually growing tired of the dog, and simply trying to ignore it, I walked out of the kitchen and toward the back of the house, with the dog still latched, tenaciously, onto my hand. I stepped out onto a rear deck, looking out over the plains area, which broke into mountains and valleys in the distance. Still frustrated with this dog, which remained locked onto my hand like a steak suspended above the ground, I thought about slinging my arm as far as I could, and chucking the dog into the deepest end of the valley. I rush of guilt came over me, though, and I decided against it. Instead, I gave one more hard shake, slinging the dog off of me and immediately launching myself into the air, away from it. I flew off, toward the mountains, simply trying to see what else I could explore.

It didn't take too long, though, before I began to see large structures in the sky, coming more into focus and out of the light haze before me. As I flew closer, I could see that these seemed to be gigantic tentacles - or tendrils, of some sort. They covered practically the whole sky, quickly overwhelming my field of view. I could not see from where they were originating, and I was growing more and more sure that I didn't want to know. Given their size, I did not even want to begin to imagine what they belonged to.

I don't remember whether I intentionally pulled myself out of this dream or not, but this dream scene ended shortly afterward.

PART TWO
(Dream Chain)

This dream seemed to already be in progress, upon my earliest memory of it. I was back in my old, Lake Mary home and, for some random reason, I was hanging out with Jason Momoa. (Lol.) We were just shooting the sh*t and hanging around the house. It all had a very chill, weekend sort of vibe. I remember us going to one of the windows and yelling back and forth, playfully, to one of the nearby neighbors as they walked their dog. At some point, I remember telling him about my previous lucid dream, trying to recall all of the details.

He ended up crashing at my place (as if any of this was, at all, just 'normal'), and the dream ended just as I went to sleep.

PART THREE
(Dream Chain)

In what some may consider a "dream within a dream," I suddenly found myself in some unfamiliar building. There were a bunch of DCs around, and the atmosphere was feeling kind of hostile. Feeling uncomfortable, my mind flipped back to what had previously been going on, I remembered that I was just hanging out with Jason Momoa, and that this had to be a dream. I was lucid, again.

Feeling much more relaxed, I was completely unfazed when one of the DCs started trying to antagonize me. I don't remember exactly what he said, but I remember just laughing him off, and telling him that this was just a dream, and I wasn't worried about him. He asked me to prove it, and I held up my hands, attempting to do the Finger-Through-Palm reality check. The dream was quite vivid, though, and my finger met waking-world resistance, refusing to phase through my other hand. Instead, I jumped into the air and tried to levitate, but I sank back to the ground, only slightly slower than real-time. The belligerent DC, unconvinced, told me that, if I could fly up and touch the high ceiling, he would believe me.

Not one to be shown up, by my own imagination, I jumped into the air and tried to fly to the ceiling. I couldn't quite reach it, though, feeling myself starting to sink back to the ground, after missing my mark by just a couple of feet. On the way do, though, I tried to forget about elevation, though, and simply tried to stop myself from touching down to the ground. Much to the shock of the DC - and those who had began to rally behind him - I found myself hovering in mid-air, about four feet off of the ground. Almost as expected, the DCs all took one look at my ability and ran away in terror.

Satisfied, I then thought about my dream state, and since this dream had been a bit rowdy, I began to wonder whether I was acting out any of my actions, in the waking world. In an absolutely hilarious lapse of awareness, I remembered that Jason Momoa was still hanging out in my house, as I slept, and I thought about how embarrassing it might have been, if I was flailing around in my sleep, gesturing out my dream actions. With that ironic misconception in mind, I decided to wake myself up.

(I couldn't help but laugh at myself, when I woke up, for real, in my present home, with no one else around. Lol.)

==========================
Side Notes:

- I've had other "dreams within dreams," before, where I have "gone to sleep" in a dream, had another dream scenario play out, and then "woke back up," into the same scenario that I was having, previously. This is the first one, though, where - during a "second-level" dream, I remembered the previous scenario but mistook it for real life. I can't get over how funny that is.

- I had been watching a lot of movie news, lately, with Avengers Endgame being right around the corner. Even though I haven't yet seen Aquaman, there's been plenty of references to Momoa so, as random as it was, it's not all that surprising that he made a cameo in the dream.

"More Fun with Telekinesis" - 11/25/2009 (Lucid + False Awakening)

"More Fun With Telekinesis"
11/25/2009
(Lucid + False Awakening)

Part One

There was a big-time gang leader, who looked like the Haitian, from the TV show: Heroes. He was going around, just killing people in cold blood, for the smallest of reasons. My group and I were back in my old neighborhood of Canterbury, where we came across a guy who was carrying (someone I just instinctively knew to be) his own brother. There had been some kind of incident, and the one brother was hurt, really badly. When we saw them, I was going to offer to give them a ride - as the guy obviously needed medical attention, but I, then, saw that there was a black limo, pulling up beside them, before we'd gotten my car. Eventually, after some conversation that was outside of my earshot, they got inside the mysterious, black car.

I'm not sure about the details of the scene transition, but it was as if I followed them to a place that definitely was not my house (even though it turned into my house, later on in the dream). Tailing them into the house - trying to stay out of sight - I could see that they went into a back room, where I, soon, heard a lot of pleading from one of the men. I tried sneaking in closer, near to the room door, which was left ajar, in order to get a better look. Then, gunshots rang out from within. Immediately, I assumed that the two brothers had just been snubbed out, though I couldn't shake the feeling that they were innocent and didn't deserve to die.

The Haitian-looking guy suddenly came barging out of the room, with a gun in his hand, immediately seeing me and drawing the weapon on me. By this time, the surroundings were recognizable as my old house, and he backed me into what used to what my room, with the gun aimed in my face. I remember feeling much younger, now - around the age that I was at the time I actually lived in that house - and I kept pleading for him not to shoot, because I was "just a kid."

I noticed another person coming down the hall, toward the open room door and - without really asking any questions - the boss-man shot him right in front of me, and then swung the gun back to me. By this time, I was horrified, and almost certain that he was going to shoot me in the head...but he didn't. Instead, he suddenly relaxed and let me out of the room. In sheer terror, I ran down the hall and out the front door. Just as I was about to leave the front porch, though, I stopped, for a moment, and took a look around. My fear had finally brought me to realize that I'd been dreaming, this whole time, and I was never really in any danger.

Feeling empowered (if not slightly embarrassed with myself), I turned around and stormed back into the house, slamming the door behind me and walking right back down the hallway, toward where the boss-man was. I was ready to settle the score. Just as I started down the hall, he stepped out from the bedroom doorway. I broke into a sprint and, seeing me charging back toward him, he drew his gun again and raised it toward me. By then, I was already within arms-length of him, and I reached out with one hand and grabbed his wrist, keeping him from aiming the gun up to eye level. He strained against my hand and started at me, intently. I just stared right back, with a snide grin. In my mind (or should I say "consciously"?), I was expecting him to pull the trigger, and he did, firing twice into my stomach, from a few inches away. I barely even felt the bullets at all.

Letting go of his hand, I held my hand up toward him, and then swung it back toward the far end of the hallway. With the gesture, I telekinetically lifted the man off of his feet, launching him down the hallway, away from me, and into the living room. His back crashed against the far wall, and I walked, calmly, after him. When I got close, he tried to raise his gun at me, again, and I brushed it away, then grabbing him by the side of his head, with one hand. We were, now, standing right beside my old, dining room table, and I took his head and slammed it down on the hardwood top, repeatedly; shouting at him that he did "Not. Know. Who. You're....Messing with!!", each word corresponding to a crash of his head upon the table. At the final two words, I removed my hand from his head, instead focusing my gaze onto him and imagining him being driven through the table, again. Just as pictured, my telekinetic hold on him ripped his head down and smashed it through the thick, wooden surface, splintering the wood, quite vividly.

Looking back down the hall, I saw some other guy watching me with this look of shock on his face. He sprinted off, in another direction, when he saw me looking at him, and I started chasing him. I didn't really care who it was; I was just in the mood to have a little more fun, after redeeming my sense of pride against the previous "boss." Once I dashed through the laundry room, and out the back door, the stranger was jumping into a car, driven by yet another person, and they tried to get away from me as fast as they could. The car had to follow a circular path around a tree near the front of my house, which would bring them back toward me, in order to get out to the main road. Defiantly, I just stood in the way, daring them to run me down. Apparently, the driver wasn't about to try it, and he slammed on the brakes, the car stopping right in front of me.

Off to one side of us, I could see a group of neighborhood kids, walking through the intersection at the main road of my neighborhood. Showing off, a little bit, I reached out to the grill of the car, taking hold of it and spinning my body halfway, slinging the car across me, like a discus, and down the street, to the main road. The approaching people saw it coming and scattered just before the car crashed, violently, into a home. Now, the crowd was acting all frantic, like "Oh, my God, what just happened??! Why'd you do that?! Are they alright??!" And I had to laugh, a little bit. I walked toward the kids and told them to calm down, because this was all just a dream, and no one is really hurt. One of the child DC's wanted me to prove that this wasn't real, so I started looking for something to use more telekinesis on. As if by nonvocal cue, the DC gave me a metal rod and told me to bend it with my mind. Before I even consciously started to try to bend it, the rod drooped over to one side. I said "see?" and tossed it aside.

Everyone was astonished. They went from being horrified, to yelling "do something else!!" So, I thought for a second and then got an interesting idea. I held my right hand up in front of me and stared at my palm. Drawing my focal point to one side, I commanded the arm to snap, midway up the forearm. It broke at a right angle, but the skin stayed intact. Using my gaze like a knife, I made an incision, diagonally, across the bend, severing the hand from the arm, completely. There was no pain, whatsoever, and no blood, though I could see the meat and bone on the inside of the stump. It was very PG-13. Keeping the show going, I caused the severed hand to slide up and down the length of my arm, on its stump, and then perch back upon the end of my forearm and reattach itself. Everyone there was completely floored, including myself. (That had to have been one of the trippiest lucid "tricks" I've ever tried.) Shortly after this display, I could feel the dream fading. I tried to pull it back together, but I couldn't, and "woke up".

 Part Two
(False Awakening)

When I "woke," the Haitian-looking dude was sitting at my computer, staring, intently, at the screen, though I couldn't see what was on it. Still groggy, and not completely aware of what was happening, I passively said "Ey, man. You gotta get up. I need to use that." He took a look at me, glanced back toward the screen and simply said "I'm not moving."

Before I knew it, there was a gun in my hand.

I was on virtual auto-pilot, at this point, and I just aimed the gun up and shot him in the wrist. He jumped out of the chair, clutching his arm and screaming bloody murder. Calmly, still unaware that this was just a false awakening (despite the ridiculousness of the situation), I got up from the bed and walked over to him, like "It's ok, buddy. You're ok.," consoling him rather sarcastically, and I told him "you might want to go get that looked at, though" and just laughed. Then, disregarding him completely, I sat down at my computer chair, to type up the notes on the lucid dream I'd just had, previously. Then, this false awakening also began fading away, and I woke up, for real.

"John Mark Karr" - 10/26/2006 (Lucid)

”John Mark Karr”
10/26/2006
Dream #2
(Lucid)

(Wow.

I popped a multivitamin and had a little dose of Calea Z, before bed. The two dreams I remember were very vivid. The second one was absolutely insane and seemed to stretch on for hours I love that about Calea, but there is the downside to the vividness, as I’ll cover later.

This one was a looooong, insane, extremely-detailed dream. If I didn’t jump out of bed early and make notes on this, there is no way I would have remembered it all. There are a few flash-forwards though, so there is still some shit missing. Oh well.)

It started off at my old house in Canterbury. I was inside, and my daughter was outside on the porch, playing. I was watching the news and they were talking about John Mark Karr, the pedophile that had been suspected of raping and killing child "beauty queen," Jon Benet Ramsey (for anyone who hasn’t seen it on the news).

Well, apparently (back in the dream), they’d found evidence that he did do it, but he had managed to slip out of police custody, a while before the broadcast was aired. I really didn’t think too much of it at the time. I was walking through the house and happened to look out my room window to see CJ playing on the porch. It surprised me to see that she was talking to someone. A man. A grown man. And he was knelt down and being really affectionate with her. I could tell, immediately, that it was John Mark Karr.

I ran outside. As soon as I opened the door, Karr took off running. Quickly, I caught up to him. We had a short scrap, and I was able to get a full nelson lock on him. Knowing I would need someone to watch him while I called the police, so I walked him over to my friend M's house, whose parents were the landlords of my neighborhood. M wasn’t there, but his parents and big brother were. I pushed Karr inside the house and sat him down on the couch. M's dad and brother happened to be watching the news, also. They took one look at Karr and was like “Is that…..?” I said “Yup.”

Without saying another word, M's dad turned around and opened one of the cabinets on the entertainment center. He pulled out a long-nosed revolver, cocked back the hammer and took aim on Karr, obviously in the mood for a little vigilante justice. I got in the way, though and talked him out of shooting him. I figured that it was best left to the police - that Karr would get what was coming to him, and that M's dad wouldn’t want this man’s blood on his hands, in the long run.

As we were waiting for the cops, something happened (I can’t remember what) where Karr had tricked me into grabbing this wooden block or something that was on the table. It had, previously, been busted on something and, when I grabbed it, hundreds of splinters dug painfully into my hands. Seeing a window of opportunity, Karr jumped up off of the couch and bolted out the door. I ran after him and chased him through the neighborhood, again, to an unfamiliar street in front of a house where a bunch of roughneck island dudes were having a party. I caught up with him again and tackled him to the ground. The guys outside were wondering what was going on, and I asked one of them if that happened to have a pair of handcuffs on them. Conveniently, one of them did.

We cuffed Karr, and they let me bring him inside, so I could use the phone. Then, I uncuffed one of his hands and cuffed him to a table.

While I was in another room, using the phone, a bunch of the other guys were in the living room talking to Karr. When I came out, they were actually treating him like he was a good friend of their group, even passing him a lit bowl, so he could smoke with his free hand.

I walked in, thinking “WTF is going on here?” but I decided that it'd be best not to say anything, because these guys would probably, collectively, kick the shit out of me if I got on their bad side. So, I sat down on the couch and hit the bowl a few times, still waiting for the police (which is ironic). I started talking to Karr, about his “problem,” and he was really calm and conversational - actually, rather charismatic, considering the circumstances. If part of me didn’t want to rip his f*ing face off, for being a child-killing pedophile, I would have been able to see why these other guys were getting along with him. Since he was cuffed though, people were leaving him alone for minutes at a time, and I’d gotten up a few times as well. I did notice, though, that after a while, the wooden table leg was looking more and more worn. I got the feeling he was trying to get out of the cuffs whenever no one was looking, but it didn’t look like he was having much luck with it.

Eventually, I made the mistake of leaving him alone once more. I think it was to use the phone again. When I came back out, the handcuffs had been removed and Karr no longer in the house. I ran outside, to see him just living it up with all these Jamaican-ish guys. It seemed that one of them had a horse (random) and they were all taking turns riding it up and down the street. Then, they let “their new homeboy,” Karr, take a turn on it. Before I could even get a chance to say “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!?” Karr took off. I started running after him….again. I guess he didn’t have it in him, to steal the guy’s horse, because, after he got about a hundred yards away, he jumped off and sent the horse back to its owner while I continued to chase him.

Before I knew it, it was night time. I was finally beginning to catch up to Karr, only, now, it wasn’t Karr. It was still “him,” but he was in the body of an old friend of mine [actually named Mark], and was shirtless. (Funny, how he changed into a friend with Mark in his name, also.) Mark/Karr was now running through a park, toward a small pond. There were a few people out there at the picnic tables, in the dark, and I was yelling to them to stop Mark/Karr, but everyone just got up and ran like he had a gun and they wanted no part of it. I happened to spot a nail gun near the tables and grabbed it as I passed by. Before Mark/Karr jumped into the pond, I fired a few nails into his back from a pretty good distance. He dove in and started swimming across but the nails in his back slowed him down long enough for me to run around to the other side of the pond with the nail gun aimed at his face, waiting for him as he crawled up out of the water. He had nowhere to go.

Another flash forward: It was the next morning, and I was at the police station. Karr had been arrested. (I didn’t see if he was in his own body or still in Mark’s.)  My daughter was with me, again, and, apparently, there were a lot of fathers of little girls, who’d been molested by Karr, at the station, too. We were supposed to be talking to the sheriff about this guy and what a fitting sentence would be. I remember that we were all getting REALLY pissed, because the sheriff was paying more attention to a political photo-op that he was having in his office, than to all of us that were waiting to speak to him. Some of the men were getting really emotional, and even crying, because of the lack of compassion the sheriff was showing, in regards to their violated children. We finally got to go in and see him and he was still being really ignorant about the whole ordeal, like none of it mattered to him. CJ tried to come in and talk to me, but I had to send her back out. The police said they had a daycare center on the property, so I had someone escort her there, so she could play. This is where things really got strange...

Soon, I was in a smaller room in the station with a group of these angry dads, much like a classroom, and we were filling out paperwork on these little desks. It was really quiet, for a while, but I, then, noticed someone at the back of the room was singing: “Tiiiiiiiiime….is on my siiiiide. Yes it is….” This immediately got my attention.

Before long, I noticed that the song was coming from a different person, in the back of the room. The first person's singing had stopped. It, then, shifted from this second person, to a third, who was just a little bit closer, up the row. Then, from that third person, to a fourth; closer, repeating: “Tiiiiiiiiime….is on my siiiiide. Yes it is….”

My perspective shifted, momentarily, to 3rd-person perspective. I was looking down on this room, from above, and I could see whomever was singing, at the time, reach out and touch the person in front of him - and that person, singing the same line, would then touch the person in front of him, and so on, transferring the song with each touch. (Anyone who has seen the movie Fallen, with Denzel Washington, would know that this is a Really Bad Thing.) Finally, falling back into 1st-person perspective, before the singing could spread to the person right behind me, I jumped up and bolted out of the room.

As I was running toward the daycare center, to grab CJ, I realized what was going on. When Karr had changed into my friend Mark, it wasn’t some random dream glitch. It was actually part of the plot. Karr had found a way to shift his consciousness from person to person, by touch, just like the villain in ”Fallen.” Singing that song - which was a staple in the movie - was his way of letting me know that this was the case.

I ran into the daycare center, and the lady working there told me that CJ had been terrified of something, but she wouldn’t tell anyone what it was. She’d been hiding under one of the bunk beds, since soon after she came in. That’s exactly where I found her. She looked up at me and it took me a little while to get her to come out. I kept telling her to tell me what happened, but she simply refused to, like she was afraid of telling me. I decided not to push her too hard, picked her up and we got the Hell out of there.

Driving down the road, and stopping at an intersection, I was just about to attempt to get her to tell me why she was bugging out, back the station, before I saw a van speeding toward the intersection, from our left. It tried to run through the intersection and slammed into another car that was crossing it, the two vehicles stopping dead in the center of the intersection, before us. I looked into the van that had been speeding and caused the crash, and Karr was in the driver's seat (still in Mark’s body, I think). He had escaped from jail and stolen a van.

He was just about to reverse and continue his getaway when another van crashed into him, from behind, the pile-up closing off the street so that there would be no way for him to drive out of there.

A large group of Jamaicans (much like the group whose house we were in, previously) jumped out and started talking shit to Mark/Karr, for causing the huge accident with his reckless driving. An altercation was about to start that would have probably left Karr dead but there was yet another Flash Forward in the dream timeline.

I was coming out of the police station, for a second time. Karr was back in jail. Obviously the cops had shown up, before things got too out of hand, back at the crash scene, and took him back into custody.

CJ wasn’t with me, this time, and I was about to get in my truck and drive off, when a guy getting into the van next to me (who looked surprisingly like my mom’s boyfriend, who is, coincidentally, serving a lil bit of jail time) began singing:

“Tiiiiiiiiime….is on my siiiiide. Yes it is….”

I spun around and looked in, through the passenger window, just as he was getting in, on the driver’s side. He closed the door, casually looked over at me and gave me a victorious smile as he began to slowly pull away from the police station.

I thought “Oh, HELL NO.”

That’s when it Finally hit me: I was dreaming.

I think it was recognizing his face, as my mom’s boyfriend, that did it, more than anything else. While he was slowly backing out of the parking spot, I ran up to the van and jumped onto the long step / foot-rail, beneath the door, holding onto the side of the van. He continued to smile at me, confident that he was going to make his escape, and I simply smiled right back at him, knowing that this was my dream, and there was no way in Hell he was getting away.

To show off a little, I raised one hand, slowly, and pressed my palm against the glass of the passenger-side window, still holding onto the side of the van while he reversed. I’d intended to slowly push my arm through the window like it was water, and climb in, to grab him...but I couldn’t do it. I tried, again. Nothing. It was as solid as waking world glass. I knew immediately it was the Calea/Multivitamin, I’d taken before bed. The experience was just too vivid for me to just “let go,” enough for my hand to pass through the glass.

I thought “F*ck this,” and I cocked back my arm to just punch through the glass, but Karr swerved the van onto the street and threw it in drive, causing me to fall off of the van’s side-rail, just before he began speeding away, down the street. I landed on my feet, though, and watched him drive off. I could see another intersection, down the road and the first thing that came to mind was the previous accident scene. It began to come into focus as my form dissipated into a disembodied third-person perspective. The “physical me” was pulling up to the intersection, down the street, just ahead of “Karr.” I don’t know if I manifested the second van, voluntarily - or subconsciously - but the same van that had smashed into Karr's van, during the first accident, came speeding down the road, behind him, once again.

It was like Déjà vu. I watched the exact same accident happen, as before - in third person - from about a hundred yards away. It was like I had inadvertently caused a loop in time that ended up stopping Karr from getting away, yet again, which was freaking epic. Haha.

That’s the last thing I remember before waking up.
